I am at the highest level program at the Baptiste Institute. It’s called Fit to Lead, and the program continues to show me the importance of the student mentality.
It comes back to being present. This is the foundation behind the methodology of Baptiste Yoga techniques. When you approach these practices with a beginner’s mindset, you look at the same teaching, words and language in a brand new way.
Just like Journey into Power, we do the practice over and over. And each time you do it, you have an opportunity to move through and experience the poses with presence.
With Fit to Lead, I am grateful to be in the seat of a student with peers like Dan Nevins, Erin Peterson, Laura and Walter of AYP. Even as a teacher, it’s important for me to keep learning from as many people as I can.
So much magic is created when people choose to truly show up and learn. That’s what I see you doing in the studio. You have a plan, a practice and a sequence. I see you as learners, learning from each other.
Commit to your own personal transformation.
The more you put into it, the more you get out of it. Studentship is taking responsibility for your own transformation.
