Presence

Get present to your physical body. Notice your hands, your sit bones, and your heartbeat. What’s your mood right now? How did you wake up and feel? What did you tell yourself when you got out of bed?

Getting present helps you flow through the day. Staying present is a disciplined habit. Sometimes things happen and it shifts your mood. Take time to get present. Ground your feet, take a deep breath and notice your mood. When you acknowledge your mood you can see how you experience and react to the world around you.

Our thoughts become our words, our words become our actions and this creates our life. Know that you have the power to change your mood, stay in it or expand it. Then, you can notice a shift and the power of presence shows up! This is Yoga off the mat.
